Today is the start of World Mental Health Awareness Week. The theme for 2020 is kindness and we're being encouraged to celebrate the acts of kindness that are so important to our wellbeing throughout this week.
Simple acts of kindness can have a hugely positive effect on people's mental health by making people feel valued, and reminding them that others care for their wellbeing. We want to celebrate this, this week a different kindness challenge will be posted on our Show My Homework notice board everyday for our students to take on. We want to celebrate all the wonderful acts of kindness our staff and students make every day!
